Blognic was fun!

So today I attended my very first Blognic in the Lowcountry to connect with more techies/geeks/bloggers and generally integrate myself more into this wonderful community.

I have to say, it was really fun and got to see some familiar faces: Eugene, Kathy and Ian
But I also got to meet some other really nice people: Chuck, James and Katy

I made lumpia (wish i had a camera to document my cooking), but thanks to Eugene, I have a picture:

We also had some good conversations ranging from Fillipino culture to beer to cell phones, dogs, and IT.

    Yes, it was a good meetup, even though it got a little chilly sitting in the shade.

    Also, it goes to show that even geeks talk about ‘normal’ things when they get together sometimes!

    I agree! I feel like being a geek is only part of who I am, as well as other geeks :) I love that we have this community and can have non-techy fun too!
